A big debate is always whether Kids Sail Free is true a deal or not. Some will argue that Royal Caribbean inflates the cruise fare for guests 1 and 2 to compensate for offering “Kids Sail Free” for guests 3 and 4, resulting in minimal change in price. Others claim to find savings. Personally, I have had both experiences.

So- lets take a look.

I priced some popular family cruises yesterday, March 23, 2022, and have repriced the same sailings today when the sale went live. For this post I looked at two Oasis Class sailings and three Freedom Class sailings. Two are during Spring Break season but not included in the blackout dates for Kids Sail Free, two are 2022 summer sailings, and one is during fall of 2022.

You can compare all of the pre/post Kids Sail Free prices below and I must say, while I have always been a Kids Sail Free skeptic, there are some significant savings to be found that more than compensate for the small price increases we have seen over the week leading up to the launch of the sale.
